These cycling helmets were developed during a graduate level industrial design course at the Rochester Institute of Technology in the Spring of 2013. My professor for this course, Alex Lobos, developed the assignment as described below.
In this assignment students designed a collection of concepts that communicate Flow in Sports. Designs were developed using Fusion360, exploring how the software allows for front-end (conceptual) development of ideas.
The goal of the assignment was not to create a finalized product, but rather a collection of concepts that show inspiring directions for future products. Strong attention to detail of form, proportions, appearance and user interaction was critical for a successful output.
